Nursah (Omeroglu) Cetinkaya was born in Istanbul, Turkey. She has graduated from Bosphorus
University Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, Istanbul. She commenced her career in
clinical research field that is the late stage of development in Life Sciences (Pharmaceuticals, Medical
Devices, etc.) She worked in different positions and companies since 1998 responsible for managing
clinical studies in Cardiology, Diabetes, Rheumatology, Thrombosis, Infectious Diseases, Psychiatry,
Neurology and Oncology. She has experience in more than 100 studies at different stages and phases.
Currently the Founding Partner of NER Medical Research Consulting (www.ner-consulting.com) she
is responsible in managing medical research and coordinate Innovation Collaboration programs with
3rd parties such as universities to generate innovation in health in Turkey. She is also coordinating
AkademiKA®; a Good Clinical Practice Training Program on Ethical Principles in Research since 2003
and has successfully completed nearly 50 sessions of trainings with 2000 participants who are Turkish
investigators as well as investigators from Middle East and Central Asia countries such as United Arab
Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Georgia, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Kazakstan, Uzbekistan and Iran.
She is a Board Member of Turkish Clinical Research Association (www.klinikarastirmalar.org.tr). She
is contributing to the organization of National Clinical Research Congress that was held in 2013 and
2015 respectively in Turkey.
She has published 9 articles about clinical research in national and international journals and given
speeches in local and international congresses and symposia.
